Embroidered bodice 1950s cocktail dress (creme and cocoa brown)

VTG 1950s Cocktail Dress. Substantial ribbed satin type fabric in cocoa brown. The bodice is beautifully constructed with a shaped and booted interior lining and princess panels front and back that nip the waist and continue into the beautifully flared skirt, which is supported by its own starched petticoat. Dripping down from below a creamy white satin band framing the top bodice is the most wonderful floral embroidery set with tiny 3D bell flowers centered with aurora rhinestones.

Metal zipper in centre back seam.

Straps are long and could be shortened if necessary.
